This is to inform u that there are a couple of resolutions and memoranda recently approved by the GSAC National Board. Your chapters need to have copies of these as soon as possible along with some other documents such as Roster of Sioux and Organizational Chart. Contact me to receive these documents through e-mail. One of the memoranda has a deadline on march 31, 2012 that ALL chapters need to comply. Failure to comply this memorandum has consequences that might terminate your membership. Please cooperate. ALPHA SIGMA OMEGA

ALPHA SIGMA OMEGA or the SIOUX society is an International Service Fraternity and Sorority that was founded in the year 1976. Started as a group of men who strongly opposed the dictatorship and Martial Law of the late Philippine president Ferdinand E. Marcos. Organized during the months of August, September and October of 1976, thus, ASO was taken from the first letter of each month.

Today, there are more than 50 existing chapters all over the Philippines and abroad. Commonly composed of young professionals and achievers, making ALPHA SIGMA OMEGA a totally different from other existing fraternities and sororities.

VISION

We envision a nation of youth and young achievers who shall realize the limitless possibilities of being united in spirit for our country’s welfare and for the brotherhood of our organization.

MISSION

To become a standard bearer of the youth and young achievers in the service of our country, community and our organization, and to become a true paradigm in exhibiting good values and virtues in accordance to the law of man and to the law of God.

Sub Fraternity Burauen Chapter(S.I.O.U.X)

We are Alpha Sigma Omega from Burauen, Leyte, Philippines Celebrating our 36th Founding Anniversary. Hoping for the arrival of the next year will be a progressive organization again and maintain the discipline to each other and have opportunities facing the sis and brad. But don't for get the daily vital rules to become a Authentic Solidarity Omnipotence. We are grateful to God above.
